Half the Sky by Nicholas Kristof. I'll even lend you my PERSONALLY AUTOGRAPHED version, the book he signed after I GOT A PICTURE WITH HIM. Be jealous. :) Thank you for your comments on my blog! And yes, you nailed the theme. And glad I didn't infuriate you beyond belief from my prior comment on your blog!
While we're talking about changing the world, I would highly recommend Truth and Social Reform by Vishal Mangalwadi. A(n Indian) Christian's perspective on social reform. If I'm remembering it correctly, it's awesome.
A little light reading, Dave? :)
Becky, nothing says Christmas like One Big Union and One Big Strike. :)
Wifey, I am jealous. I just read the Washington Post review of Half the Sky. Sounds really cool.
Elizabeth, I haven't heard of that one. I'll have to check it out. BTW, congrats on your 2,520 hours!
LOL I'm with Becky! Whatever happened to a little John Grisham? Just kidding, D.
